Hello all~ Hope everyone is doing well. We have all been doing great! Enjoying the nice fall weather--LOVE this time of year! Alexander is growing up so fast, I know I say that every time but I still can't believe it! He has such a little personality. I looked back in the carseat the other day and told Eric how when I look at him now, it is a little sad, he is not my baby anymore, he looks so much like a "little boy". He is so expressive in his coos now....he grunts, squeals, yells and makes his own little words.

Don't you wish you could hear the noise coming out of his mouth!?
He is starting to teeth now. I know it seems early to us as well, but they say they can start getting teeth anywhere from 4-6 months and they feel them coming in earlier than we see them of course. He is putting everything he can in that little mouth of his! He will do anything to get your finger in there and chomp on it! We have had a time finding teethers that will fit in his mouth. Luckily the giraffe that Uncle Billy got him works well! So does a frozen washcloth. Other rings and stuff are just too big and he gets more frustrated than anything.

Thank you Uncle Billy for the AWESOME teether!
Alexander still loves his exersaucer. He has gotten the hang of how to make himself go round and round on it, playing with all the toys on it. His new found friend--Johnny Jump Up. The contraption that you hang in the door way and let them jump up and down in. He loves it! He loves to bounce and will spend a good deal of time in it---good way to get rid of all that energy! Nana & Papa Eric bought a bouncing exersaucer and he had a ball in that on Sunday and can't wait to go back for more playtime! He gets confused though, when he gets back home and his exersaucer doesn't bounce!
Last weekend Eric and I took Alexander for his first trip across the state line! We went to see Mr. & Mrs. Fisher in Longs, SC. Mr. & Mrs. Fisher are long time friends of Grandma & Grandpa Currie and had been waiting very patiently to see the little guy. We had the day off, so decided to see how Alexander would fair riding so long. He did wonderfully on the way there! He slept the entire way, only waking up a few minutes before we arrived. We had a very nice visit. Of course, Alexander got plenty of hugs and kisses. The trip back was a little more rough. I think he was just truly tired of being in his car seat because once we got home and took him out, he was a happy camper. Here are some pictures of our trip.
